Scrappy Saturday

Here is another layout I finished. I actually have 2 versions of this photo. One goes to each album for the boys. Kuya is just so sweet sharing ice cream to Joie..
Most of the papers are from Studio Azul kit.

Here's the step in doing this layout.
1) Lay Prima mask and using Maya Mist spray, spray randomly on the mask.
2) Alternately adhere the Basic Grey and Making Memories alternate. Punch the edges for dimension.
3) Arrange the photos.
4) Cut the Hambly transparency.
5) Adhere the Fancy pants felt from the kit.
6) Stamp and heat emboss Fontwerks label stamp.
7) Adhere the alphabet stickers and American Crafts Thickers for the title.
8) Stamp Prima (from the kit) and Ali Edwards word stamps.
9) Adhere Daisy D's rubons (from the kit)

Party must go on

I normally prepare 2 pages for photos that have both DS. And sometimes 3 if husband or me is also in the picture.

Before my kids turn 1, we celebrate their monthly birthdays. Regardless whether they are sick or well, the party must go on. We have our kids' friends/neighbors as our party guests.

Materials used: Basic Grey Papers ; Uniball white pen; Tim Holtz journalling tickets; Making Memories tiny alpha stickers and glitter die cut.
Journalling: Bujoi makes a which for Joie's 8th month birthday.

When the kids are away the mom will play

We went to Asian Hospital last Saturday for Kuya's annual checkup. He had two shots, MMR booster and flu vaccine. Afterwards, we visited my sister in Sucat. It seems the kids had not seen each other for years that they don't leave. So we asked them if they'd like to stay and sleep over. And they did. DH and I headed home. After few hours of silence, we missed the kids so much so DH decided to pick them up. While the kids were away, I have the freedom to bring my things out of my little nook and started workin on these. Time to renew my subscription with Studio Azul so I have to make room for upcoming kits.
Just sneaked into the site and the January kit is really a goodness!

Here are my projects using the August 2008 Kit - Wouldn't It Be Nice

This is from their Limited Edition Kits - Red, Red Wine way back September 2007. Inspired by Cabbie's use of Beadazzles. Thanks for the inspiration Cabbie!
