Scrap Till You Drop

July 11 was a big day for Manila based scrappers. Our local kit club, Studio Azul, together with Pinoy Scrapbookers Moderators and Visual Creations, put together a really one of a kind event - Scrap Your Stress Away which everyone calls as Scrap Buffet! Yes, it is much like a food buffet, but instead of food, you will find loads and loads of scrap goodies and embellies and choices of patterned paper and cardstock.

This is really a scrap till you drop event, as in everyone went home with aching shoulders and backs but with huge smile in their faces at that!
As a slow scrapper, I cannot believe I was able to finish 4 layouts during the event. To be very honest, this is the very first time I was able to join an event and finish a layout that went straight to the album as soon as I got home! I still have 3 more layouts I started during the event that still needs additional finishing touches.

See what others are saying about the event here, here and here

I am lucky to be scrapping side by side with Donna, Shasha, Betchay and Marie that I was able to came up the following outputs.

Off to round 3

Been missing in action for the past few months. We have to change our subscription plan from our internet service provider to get a more reliable DSL connection. Well, all I can say it has been better since we switched.

At least, with a reliable internet connection, I was able to join the Scrappin' Moms Idol Season 3. We are now on Round 3. With so much talented participants, I am so lucky to be still part of Round 3. Well, who know, this could be my last round. You may check out the Round 2 entries here.

Meantime, here is a layout I've done in the past.

Materials Used: Papers - Chatterbox and My Mind's Eye; Felt - Prima; Sticker - 3 Bugs in a Rug; Alphabet - American Crafts, Doodlebug Designs ; Pen - American Crafts ; Rub-ons - 7 Gypsies

Noticed the photos? Yes, this is still part of the same set I did few months ago. The objective is, each layout goes to our respective albums so that us (husband and I) and the boys will have our own copy of the events of our family life.
